CONGRATULATIONS! 2007- 8TH PLACE INTERNATIONAL MEDALISTS!

Mountain Jubilee Chorus members are a diverse group of women whose path in life are as unique as our personalities. We are united in sharing the love of music and are devoted to the art of four-part barbershop harmony singing. We compete with and support some 700 chapters throughout the Sweet Adeline world.

MJC competed against ten other choruses in our seven state region this spring and won the 2006 Region 8 Chorus Championship. That qualified us to go to the Sweet Adeline International Competion in Calgary, Alberta Canada in October 2007. (Shown above is us at Detroit International Competion in October 2005.) Our trip to Calgary was great. We are thrilled with our 8th place International medals. MJC is now preparing for our Regional Competition to be held May 8-11 in Salt Lake City.

Every Valentine's Day our quartets get romantically involved and deliver "Singing Valentines" to businesses, homes, schools construction sites and anywhere else you might name. In addition to our quartets (see quartet page), we have a small group within us we call the "Extension Chords" that performs at those events where you might want more than a quartet but less than the entire chorus for your event. And then of course there's the entire chorus that loves to perform throughout the community for various business, church and civic events each year.
